My To Do-list before WoD release

Rinike2

I thought to make a To Do-list for myself what I need to do before they release, just to have everything summed up in one place 😛

  • Level up my missing classes to 90 (Warrior is 80 and Rogue is 85)
  • Level up my BabyDruid (currently 62ish)
  • Level up my Druidbankalt to 60 (I had this awesome idea that I want the tier1 for it :D)
  • Level up missing professions for Master of All achievement (missing Engineering and Blacksmith)
  • Green Fire for my Warlock (still need to gear it up a little so it would be easier)

Those are at least the ones I can think of now 😛

Notable People Of Each Classes

As some of you might have noticed I had a ‘theme’ while I was doing Lae’s (from World of Lae) Alt Appreciation challenge. I wrote about classes that you might know or you should know. I’ve been thinking a lot of adding it as a real theme for my blog and since it’s new year and all, here it is 🙂
Starting next week, I will be introducing a few people of importance to the current class of the week.

#AltsWarriorWeek summary

Last week of Lae’s Alt Apperciation ended yesterday, I was busy streaming last missing ours for our ExtraLife event so I’m writing this today.
I failed horribly on my goal with my Warrior, I didn’t have time to level her at all (well I did few quests so I guess it counts a bit towards it tho).

Even tho Alt Appreciation weeks are over, I’ve been thinking to continue it and start again on #DeathKnightWeek and atleast post my Notable posts since I’ve gotten nice feed back that people like to read it 🙂 (and it means someone actually reads my blabbering here 😛 \o/ )

#AltsWarriorWeek Notable Warriors

As you might have noticed from my Twitter the hashtag for our Warrior Week is taken so we decided to use #AltsWarriorWeek instead.
But for this week I’ve again chosen some of the famous Warriors from WoW’s lore.

Magtheridon

He is the former Lord of Outland, a pit lord who conquered the ruinds of the orcish homeworld following its destruction.
His reign was ended by the arrival of Illidan Stormrage, who took his throne at the Black Temple for himself. Deciding that Magtheridon would have a further part to play, Illidan had Magtheridon’s body dragged to the Hellfire Citadel where he imprisoned the pit lord.

“Illidan is an arrogant fool! I will crush him and reclaim Outland as my own!”

Kur’talos Ravencrest

The Ravencrest clan was a noble one, but it was not of the Highborne caste. On the contrary, Kur’talos, like most of the night elf populace, regarded the Hghborne with suspicion and dislike. He was levelheaded man, a skilled warrior, and an inspiring leader on the battlefield. It was a matter of both honor and practicality for him to fight alongside his soldiers, his presence inspired others to greater feats of courage and skill. Even so, Kur’talos had many of the ancient night elves’ prejudices against other races.
In the altered history of the War of the Ancients – which was created when Rhonin, Krasus and Broxigar were huled backward in time and changed past events by their presence – Ravencrest became the formal patron of Illidan Stormrage after recruiting Illidan to help him track down Broxigar. Kur’talos was deeply loyal to Queen of Azshara and could not believe she had been involved in the Burning Legiond’s arrival on Azeroth. Indeed, he led the night elf forces against the demons into battle time and again, shouting queen’s name as rallying cry.

Kargath Bladefist

was the Warchief of the Fel Horde and Chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan. He earned the sobriquet “Bladefist” after he cut off his own hand when he reached the station of grunt, replacing it with a deadly scythe.

Trivia
The outpost of Kargath in the Badlands was named in his honor. In addition, the shore south of Orgrimmar has been dubbed Bladefist Bay, and the headquarters of the Warsong Logging Camp in Ashenvale is known as Kargathia Keep.

Cairne Bloodhoof

He was the Chief og the united tribes of the Tauren, chieftain of the Bloodhoof, and leader of Thunder Bluff. Allying with the Horde upon its arrival on the shores of Kalimdor, Cairne stood as one of its wisest and most venerated leaders. He wielded the shamanblessed Bloodhoof Runespear.

Shocked at the rumors that the new Warchief slaughtered innocent druids, Cairne challenged Garrosh Hellscream to an honorable duel in the arena of Orgrimmar. Prior to the battle, Magatha Grimtotem offered to bless Garrosh’s weapon, Gorehowl. However, unknown to Garrosh, Magatha secretly poisoned the weapon with a potent toxin. During the course of the fight, Cairne appeared to have the upper hand until his ancient Bloodhoof Runespear is shattered by Gorehowl. Garrosh attacked again, cutting Cairne along the duration of his chest. As Cairne began to retaliate, the poison from Gorehowl sank into his blood, weakening him. As he died from the poison he realized Magatha’s betrayal, his final thought “And so, I, who have lived my whole life with honor, die betrayed”. R.I.P my friend <3

#altsWarriorWeek introduction

As you might now melee classes are not really my cup of tea, but I started Warrior around the same time with my Death Knight (bit earlier maybe) and it felt really nice to play and all. But then I forgot it to level 70.
I’ve actually had 3 different Warriors, my current Draenei Pixié, Gnome Warrior who got to around 70 and then my Night Elf Warrior who didn’t even get to level 30 😀

But I’m on my journey to get all of my characters to 90 before new expansion (when ever they are planning to publish it).
This is her now, level 70, I’m going to level her to 80 on this week, atleast 80.
Northrend goes so fast nowdays that you don’t really get to see the leveling areas, and it is really shame that they removed Veteran of the Wrathgate questline :/

Naming your characters

I think this could be nice add for Alt appreciation theme.
Everyone knows how difficult it is to find a free name you want to use preferable unique 😛
For myself I have to say that I’m not the most creative type, but I always try to find unique-ish name or just a different variation of something funny or something I like or just being boring and using food or dessert
So I thought that I share my character names with you again (Firstly I have listed them in my 30 days of World of Warcraft: Day 26 ) and tell how I came up with them 🙂

Rinike – 90 level Druid (my main)
 – This one I created when I was thinking to start this blog, I wanted something unique and it     is anagram of my middle name.
Éllih – 90 level Priest
– My nick name is Elli and I tried every different variations of it and ended up with this.
Shenyer – 90 level Shaman
 – I was able to be bit more creative and I was just pressing different letter combinations.          What I didn’t know that now when I googled it, it’s a last name 😀
Pizzelle – 90 level Hunter

– My Hunter is named after one of character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, she has      3 cookies(2 of them are whole and one with bite taken out of) as a cutie mark 🙂
It is also traditional Italian waffle (which I learned few days ago :P) singular is Pizzella
Kérmavaahto – 90 level Paladin

– This one is simply whipped cream in Finnish with apostrophe above e
Naldyn – 90 level Monk

– I came up with this name also by bashing my keyboard 😛
Smartíe – 86 level Mage

– I was eating smarties when I created my mage
Raritý – 70 level Rogue

– Rarity is one of the main ponies in My Little Pony
Pixié – 70 level Warrior

– I like fairies
Melune – 80 level Death Knight

– I was doodling names and different spellings in my head when I was creating her
Ríncewind – 90 level Warlock

– Every book lover must know where the name is from 😉 <3
He is a really funny wizard in Discworld novels written by Terry Pratchett

Mantelí – 85 level Paladin
 – Almond in Finnish
Sacura – 82 level Hunter

– She is a character in Naruto and if it’s written with k instead of c it’s a cherry blossom tree
Mynia – 47 level Priest

– I don’t have any memories how I came up with this name, but probably doodling with    different combinations again. The name was firstly on my main other priest (alliance) and I   sometimes like to use them again in another server.
Chíli – 55 level Druid

– It’s a spicy fruit 😛

My Warlock was named as Darna (she was my first ever char), and as again I was hitting buttons and came up with that and afterwards I noticed the similarity with Darnassus 😛 (at start I didn’t even know about the awesome Elf city <3
Hope you enjoyed my babble again ^^
