Notable People Of Each Classes

As some of you might have noticed I had a ‘theme’ while I was doing Lae’s (from World of Lae) Alt Appreciation challenge. I wrote about classes that you might know or you should know. I’ve been thinking a lot of adding it as a real theme for my blog and since it’s new year and all, here it is 🙂
Starting next week, I will be introducing a few people of importance to the current class of the week.

Notable Hunters

The shadow hunter Vol’jin, son of Sen’jin, is Chieftain of the Darkspear tribe and rightful ruler of the Echo Isles.
He has sworn to do everything in his power to lead the Darkspear tribe just as his late father, Sen’jin, would have. For years he resided in Orgrimmar, offering strategic advice to Thrall and assisting with critical operations such as retaking the Undercity after the Forsaken bastion had been unsurped by Grand Apothecary Putress and the dreadlord Varimathras.
Recently, however Vol’jin has came into conflict with Horde’s new warchief, Garros Hellscream. Alienated by the orc’s extremism and lust for war the troll elader has departed Orgrimmar and taken up residence on Darkspear Isle.
With the war between Alliance and Horde coming to the shores of Pandaria, Vol’jin has become a bitter enemy of Garrosh. After surviving an assasination attempt by one of Hellscream’s Kor’kron, Vol’jin has gone into hiding.
With Garrosh’s defeat and capture, he assumed the mantle of Warchief of the Horde, with the personal support of Thrall and the remainder of the Horde’s leadership. Vol’jin is the first non-orc to earn the title.
Halduron serverd under the Alliance of Lordaeron during the second War against Horde. Before the Third, Sylvanas Windrunner was the Ranger-General of Silvermoon, the highest authority amongst the Farstriders. With her death, a void was left, leaving the high elven rangers without a leader. The Farstriders soon chose Halduron Brightwing as the new leader. As he was a great ranger, he was promoted to Ranger-General of Silvermoon, and rules the rangers to this day. At the same time he was promoted , his commanding officer, Lor’themar Theron, was made Regent Lord of Quel’Thalas. Like, Lor’themar, Halduron played a crucial role in protecting Quel’Thalas from the Scourge during the re-founding of Silvermoon City and is privy to the true identity of Anveena.

Notable Druids

I was suppose to post this earlier this week (and technically it’s Monday already ;D)  but I’ve been really distracted by leveling and watching Netflix and I’m really sorry about it 😛
But here are some notable Druids that you should know or get to know 🙂

Hamuul Runetotem

He is the Archdruid of  Thunder Bluff and venerated leader of the tauren people. He is the highest-ranked tauren in the Cenarion Circle, though the inclusion of tauren had incurred the ire of his former night elf counterpart, Fandral Staghelm, who believed that only night elves can be druids.

As many of his people do, Hamuul believes very much in the balance between nature and the races of Azeroth. This was the reason that he sought out and befriended the mighty night elf Malfurion Stormrage during the recent invasion of the Burning Legion, to request training in the druidic arts. After Cairne was murdered by Magatha Grimtotem, Hamuul continued his role as advisor to Cairne’s son Baine, the new Chieftain.

Broll Bearmantle

Broll Bearmantle was born with antlers, and extremely rare gift of nature and sign that one day he would do great deeds. For years people watched as his antlers grew and waited for him to manifest greatness. Over the long centuries he developed into a fine druid – very powerful, and amazing shapeshifter with many forms – but beyond that he seemed nothing special. In time he was further gifted with an idol crafted by the immortal druid Remulos, son of the demigod Cenarius.

He, along Valeera Sanguinar, continued to accompany the King Varian Wrynn until they assisted him in bringing the broodmother Onyxia to justice, rescuing Anduin and returned Varian to his rightful throne; thus becoming a trusted friend in the process. He also grows attached to Valeera, who’s independent and sometimes reckless nature remind him of his deceased daughter. The two form a close, almost fater-daughter like bond over the course of their journey. Broll however, is deeply concerned for Valeera and her addiction to magic.

#DeathKnightWeek notable Death Knights

Since I figured out this “theme” on my Druid week, this one is going to be my first notable Death Knights post 🙂 I was thinking to start with familiar boss encounter, Four Horsemen. Here they are:

Baron Rivendare

He was wealthy Landowner and friend of Kel’thuzad. He fell under the necromancer’s way and helped build and structure the Cult of the Damned. One of his greatest joys is to instill corruption in others, especially paladins, and most especially members of Argent Dawn.
Originally he was ruling over the city of Stratholme for the Scourge. Now days he leads the Four Horsemen of Naxxramas in place of Highlord Mograine.
“Time to take matters into my own hands. Come. Enter my domain and challenge the might of the Scourge!”

Lady Blaumeux

She calls forth the power of shadows, drawing the souls of the living into the voracious embrace.
It is presumed that she was formally a paladin and likely represents the “Rider of Famine”, based on her black colour scheme.
She wrote book called “This is my Runeblade…”.
In comic she witnessed the enslaving of Alexandros Mograine by Kel’thuzad. Later she fought against the party of Darion Mograine led into Naxxramas.
“Your life is mine!”

He represents the “Pale Rider of Death”, based on his light green colour scheme. He holds the power of flame.
He is fallen dwarf paladin. There is speculation that he fell to the Scourge after Uther’s death, as he might have been leading member of the Knights of the Silver Hand.
This is partially confirmed when Alexandros Mograine refers to Korth’azz as “one of Uther’s men”.
In comic he, along with Lady Blaumeux, witnessed enslaving of Alexandros Mograine nad fought against Darion Mograine.
He was defeated when Darion struck him down with the Corrupted Ashbringer.
“Come out and fight, ye wee ninny!”

Sir Zeliek

He was a paladin in life, so strong in his faith, that even in undeath, the power of the light still heeds his call, smiting his foes in battle.
His body is forced to obey Kel’thuzad’s commands, Sir Zeliek managed to retain his sanity and morals despite his corruption. This could be seen as a mark of great spirituality and mental streangth.
He represents the “White Rider of Conquest”, based on his colour scheme and the wings on his helmet (signifying victory).

“I…I have no choice but to obey!”

Death Knight transmog

Few weeks ago was last week of Lae’s Alt appreciation. I really enjoyed it a lot and I was thinking to start going trough the list (it goes trough all the classes in alphabetical order)  again so this week would be #DeathKnightWeek again for me 😛
For these weeks I was thinking to continue my Notable posts and post some transmogs too. I’m gonna start with my Death Knights leveling transmog 🙂
I got it from Pearlfin Village, Jade Forest. It’s called Brick Battleplate (recolor).
It is so far out from Death Knight so I ended up liking it because of that 😛

#AltsWarriorWeek summary

Last week of Lae’s Alt Apperciation ended yesterday, I was busy streaming last missing ours for our ExtraLife event so I’m writing this today.
I failed horribly on my goal with my Warrior, I didn’t have time to level her at all (well I did few quests so I guess it counts a bit towards it tho).

Even tho Alt Appreciation weeks are over, I’ve been thinking to continue it and start again on #DeathKnightWeek and atleast post my Notable posts since I’ve gotten nice feed back that people like to read it 🙂 (and it means someone actually reads my blabbering here 😛 \o/ )

#AltsWarriorWeek Notable Warriors

As you might have noticed from my Twitter the hashtag for our Warrior Week is taken so we decided to use #AltsWarriorWeek instead.
But for this week I’ve again chosen some of the famous Warriors from WoW’s lore.

He is the former Lord of Outland, a pit lord who conquered the ruinds of the orcish homeworld following its destruction.
His reign was ended by the arrival of Illidan Stormrage, who took his throne at the Black Temple for himself. Deciding that Magtheridon would have a further part to play, Illidan had Magtheridon’s body dragged to the Hellfire Citadel where he imprisoned the pit lord.

“Illidan is an arrogant fool! I will crush him and reclaim Outland as my own!”

Kur’talos Ravencrest

The Ravencrest clan was a noble one, but it was not of the Highborne caste. On the contrary, Kur’talos, like most of the night elf populace, regarded the Hghborne with suspicion and dislike. He was levelheaded man, a skilled warrior, and an inspiring leader on the battlefield. It was a matter of both honor and practicality for him to fight alongside his soldiers, his presence inspired others to greater feats of courage and skill. Even so, Kur’talos had many of the ancient night elves’ prejudices against other races.
In the altered history of the War of the Ancients – which was created when Rhonin, Krasus and Broxigar were huled backward in time and changed past events by their presence – Ravencrest became the formal patron of Illidan Stormrage after recruiting Illidan to help him track down Broxigar. Kur’talos was deeply loyal to Queen of Azshara and could not believe she had been involved in the Burning Legiond’s arrival on Azeroth. Indeed, he led the night elf forces against the demons into battle time and again, shouting queen’s name as rallying cry.

Kargath Bladefist

was the Warchief of the Fel Horde and Chieftain of the Shattered Hand Clan. He earned the sobriquet “Bladefist” after he cut off his own hand when he reached the station of grunt, replacing it with a deadly scythe.

The outpost of Kargath in the Badlands was named in his honor. In addition, the shore south of Orgrimmar has been dubbed Bladefist Bay, and the headquarters of the Warsong Logging Camp in Ashenvale is known as Kargathia Keep.

Cairne Bloodhoof

He was the Chief og the united tribes of the Tauren, chieftain of the Bloodhoof, and leader of Thunder Bluff. Allying with the Horde upon its arrival on the shores of Kalimdor, Cairne stood as one of its wisest and most venerated leaders. He wielded the shamanblessed Bloodhoof Runespear.

Shocked at the rumors that the new Warchief slaughtered innocent druids, Cairne challenged Garrosh Hellscream to an honorable duel in the arena of Orgrimmar. Prior to the battle, Magatha Grimtotem offered to bless Garrosh’s weapon, Gorehowl. However, unknown to Garrosh, Magatha secretly poisoned the weapon with a potent toxin. During the course of the fight, Cairne appeared to have the upper hand until his ancient Bloodhoof Runespear is shattered by Gorehowl. Garrosh attacked again, cutting Cairne along the duration of his chest. As Cairne began to retaliate, the poison from Gorehowl sank into his blood, weakening him. As he died from the poison he realized Magatha’s betrayal, his final thought “And so, I, who have lived my whole life with honor, die betrayed”. R.I.P my friend <3

#altsWarriorWeek introduction

As you might now melee classes are not really my cup of tea, but I started Warrior around the same time with my Death Knight (bit earlier maybe) and it felt really nice to play and all. But then I forgot it to level 70.
I’ve actually had 3 different Warriors, my current Draenei Pixié, Gnome Warrior who got to around 70 and then my Night Elf Warrior who didn’t even get to level 30 😀

But I’m on my journey to get all of my characters to 90 before new expansion (when ever they are planning to publish it).
This is her now, level 70, I’m going to level her to 80 on this week, atleast 80.
Northrend goes so fast nowdays that you don’t really get to see the leveling areas, and it is really shame that they removed Veteran of the Wrathgate questline :/

#WarlockWeek summary

One week is over again (how the hell time goes so fast…). I didn’t really have that much time to do LFR with her, all I did was changed her from Affliction to Destruction 😀
I’m really going to play her bit more probably on next week even tho it is Warrior week. Just to try out the Destruction spec and how it is.

Back in a day when she was still Undead 🙂

#WarlockWeek transmog

Thought for the end of Warlock week I should make a tmog post.
So this is my current tmog on my Warlock, she looks so adorable 🙂
It is also my favourite Warlock tier 🙂 When I was leveling her back in classic, all I ever wanted to get that tear! (Never got it btw :S until now)
It is the first tier, Felheart and my weapon of choice is Inscribed Serpent Staff
